Bone density measurement (DEXA)
DEXA (Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry) is a radiological examination that measures bone density using very low-dose X-rays. Recognized by the WHO as the standard method for diagnosing osteoporosis, it reliably detects reductions in bone mineral content. The examination focuses on areas most at risk for fractures, such as the spine and hip, and provides precise data for diagnosis and follow-up.
