DEXA (Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry) is a radiological examination that measures bone density using very low-dose X-rays. DEXA is used to diagnose osteoporosis, assess fracture risk and monitor treatment progress. It is recommended when bone loss is suspected due to age, hormonal changes or long-term medication use.

You will be positioned comfortably on the DEXA table. No injections or contrast agents are required.
