Photon-counting CT
Photon-counting CT is an advanced form of computed tomography that uses a novel detector to count individual X-ray photons and measure their energy. This enables sharper images, improved tissue characterization, and high diagnostic confidence at low radiation dose. At our CID site in Lausanne, we use the NAEOTOM Alpha® with Quantum Technology® (unique in Switzerland) to provide unparalleled state-of-the-art photon-counting CT imaging.
