Unilabs Radiology is proud to announce that Unilabs Radiology German-speaking & Italian-speaking Switzerland sites have achieved the highest distinction—5 stars—under the EuroSafe Imaging Stars programme. This certification, awarded by the European Society of Radiology (ESR), recognizes outstanding commitment to radiation protection, quality assurance, and patient safety in medical imaging.

The EuroSafe Imaging Stars programme is a Europe-wide initiative designed to promote best practices in radiology and ensure the responsible use of imaging technologies. Achieving the 5-star level represents the programme’s highest recognition and confirms that our sites meet and exceed stringent criteria across multiple areas of clinical practice.

Concretely, this means that our radiology teams actively implement advanced dose optimization strategies, ensuring patients receive the lowest possible radiation exposure while maintaining diagnostic accuracy.
